The total photoabsorption cross section of 6He and 6Li is
calculated considering the full final state interaction of
the final A=6 system via the Lorentz Integral Transform method.
Semi-realistic NN potential models are employed. Ground and Lorentz states
are calculated applying the recently developed effective interaction
method for the hyperspherical formalism. Because of its astrophysical
interest the 6He +
reaction has been considered in cluster model
approaches in the past. Compared to these results the maximum of the 6He
cross section is shifted by about 5 MeV to higher energies similar as also
found in a recent experiment.
