Low-q Physics with BLAST

An overview of the BLAST project will be given. A general program of low-q physics has driven the design. The current status of the various components will be presented. A brief description will also be given of the formally approved experiments. Of course, because of the large acceptance nature of the detector, data for many other reactions will be accumulated simultaneously.
