Deuteron Compton Scattering in Effective Field Theory
Silas R. Beane
University of Washington
A short introduction and motivation of effective
field theory methods in nuclear physics will be presented [1].
I will then discuss recent calculations of deuteron Compton
scattering in effective field theories without pions [2][3] and
with pions [4].
