There is renewed opportunity for precision measurements in nuclear systems at low-momentum transfer. Chiral perturbation theory, effective field theories, and improved phenomenology in potential models all allow for the possibility of precision tests, and model-independent extraction of nucleon and nuclear properties associated with electroweak physics.
With this opportunity in mind, we are organising this workshop with an emphasis on precision measurements with electromagnetic probes, with each session providing for ample discussion and interaction between theory and experiment.
Sessions will focus on:
As well as the workshop, Nova Scotia is a wonderful tourist destination, especially in late summer. The website provides additional detail in this area, should you wish to bring family along, or even take a break yourself around the time of the workshop.
Registration will commence at the end of April, at which time we will update this circular with a program and further details on the meeting.
